Bridge Cottage was built in 1910 as a Bushmans residence. It has been colonialized to its current appealing charm with verandah and cottage garden as you walk up the steps to the front door.
The front door leads you into the lounge with its beautiful timber cathedral ceiling which also features in the original main bedroom.
The main bedroom has been extended and French doors added to outdoor seating area and morning sun. French doors also extend the lounge to outdoor dining and the rose garden.
A path winds up the hill at the back to views of Talbot Forest and out towards the Waihi River and beyond, and you can sit on a private swing seat at the top of the garden to rest, admire the view and listen to the birds.
Purchased in 2016 by the current owners, the cottage has been extensively renovated, including a new kitchen and laundry.
